Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 is a fully synthetic heavy-duty diesel engine oil with Triple Protection Plus™ technology. It protects against wear, deposits and oil breakdown while maintaining performance across extreme temperatures. Its low-ash formulation supports exhaust after-treatment systems, while strong shear stability helps maintain viscosity and oil pressure during demanding service.
Application
For new and older diesel-powered vehicles, including Class 8 tractor-trailers, heavy-duty pickups, delivery vehicles, utility vehicles and school bus fleets. Its 5W-40 grade provides improved low-temperature flow for cold-weather operation and can replace mineral or synthetic SAE 15W-40 API CK-4 or CJ-4 oils where approved.
